OUTCOME
I partnered closely with internal teams to redesign the Solenis sustainability microsite, focusing on clarity, accessibility, and alignment with ESG standards. From the start, one of the goals was to create a smoother path for third-party assessors like EcoVadis by replacing hidden content patterns with open, scannable layouts that directly support their evaluation process.
As part of the work, I also designed a new Sustainability Resource Hub to bring ESG materials into one central, easy-to-navigate space. I consolidated scattered assets and structured the hub to make it simple for both internal teams and external audiences to find what they need. The modular components I created were built for reuse, helping teams move faster while maintaining consistency across the broader site ecosystem.
Together, these changes resolved key accessibility issues and positioned the brand for stronger ESG scores, while also building a more confident and future-focused sustainability narrative.
Key Contributions
•Reorganized the sitemap to improve clarity and flow
•Designed 40+ accessible components tested with screen readers
•Aligned structure and semantics to support third-party audits
•Built a flexible system that supports long-term ESG communication

Designing with intention at scale
Sustainability reporting is often dense and technical, making it challenging to navigate—especially for third-party assessors who depend on clear data to make decisions. I approached this by transforming Solenis’s sustainability content into an experience that balances credibility with clarity and ease of use.
My goal went beyond compliance: I crafted a visual language that expresses purpose confidently and consistently across every device, ensuring the complexity feels manageable without losing impact.
- Systematic design for purposeful impact: Recognizing the complexity of sustainability data, I prioritized clarity and scalability from the start. The experience needed to support diverse users, from internal teams to ESG assessors, while evolving with the brand’s expanding narrative.
- Layout and interactions: Flexible grids and ample spacing were not just aesthetic choices but essential to creating breathing room that reduces cognitive load around dense content. Scannable layouts and mobile-first design ensure critical insights are immediately accessible while subtle interaction cues gently direct attention without distraction.
- System and tooling: By documenting patterns directly in Figma, I empowered developers and content owners to build and evolve the system efficiently, preserving consistency without bottlenecks. This was essential for a rapidly changing information environment.
- Collaboration and clarity: Close collaboration with ESG experts and engineers identified key technical and accessibility constraints early, enabling us to address friction points before launch.
Scaling a Unified Experience for Sustainability
From the beginning, I designed modular components that could scale alongside Solenis’ expanding sustainability efforts. This system supported future content needs while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to transparency and environmental leadership.
I prioritized content hierarchy and accessibility to ensure users—from assessors to the public—could easily find what they needed. Responsive layouts flexed across devices and markets, while still spotlighting key metrics and commitments.
Close collaboration with stakeholders and developers translated strategic priorities into a user-friendly, adaptable system designed to evolve with new standards and reporting requirements.
The experience highlights sustainability with organization and credibility, proving that scalable design not only maintains clarity but also strengthens accountability and drives meaningful change.
